May be: But that's according to his general condition and the decision of the treating team, clexane has a a short half life, can be stopped hours before surgery, and doesn't have the interaction profile with other medications as other blood thinners, moreover i guess, oral bloid thinners may not be absorbed reliably due to his condition in addition to the monitoring protocols, wish you both wellness
