A member asked:

How can you tell if lymphoma or cancer are present?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Imaging and biopsy..: In most instances imaging studies and biopsy (of cells or tissues) are used to determine if lymphoma or any other type of cancer is present. Imaging studies (such as ultrasound or ct) can detect if lymph nodes are enlarged and where they are located. A biopsy of cells or tissues can be performed and studied in a laboratory to determine if lymphoma or any other malignancy is present.
