I have ulcerative colitis but i've had diarrhea since yesterday along with headache, joint pain and tiredness. i am also very nauseous. is it a flare up or should i see a doctor?

Diarrhea: Is the diarrhea different from your usual ulcerative colitis flair up, and when you have flair ups how long do they last. People with ulcerative colitis do get gastrointestinal infections. If no fever, excessive cramps or blood in stool, and you can hold oral liquids down probably OK to wait and see. If things improve in 24 hours leave well enough alone.
