A member asked:

Mild consistent bleeding during ovulation for 2 days.only when i wipe.pcos but regular cycles.never happened before, any ideas?kind of crampy as well.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ovulation bleeding: Occasionally, two follicles are stimulated to produce viable eggs , which produces twice the normal amount of estrogen, so when the ts estrogen level drops just prior to ovulation, there may be "mild bleeding and cramps", which also occurs with menstrual events by the same mechanism, causing shedding of the endometrial lining.
