Minimal: When the uterus is infected (endometritis), implantation is very difficult due to the white blood cell infiltration and debris from the infection. Moreover, the infection can spread to the Fallopian tubes causing future infertility if that occurs. That is why prompt treatment by a GYN MD is imperative.
