Lower leg edema ?'s: Swelling in lower extremities at age 60 may have cardiac causes. Letrozole reduces ovarian production of estrogen. Metroprolol is used for angina and high BP. Ask your cardiologist for a diuretic which should reduce the daytime swelling, and ask about his/her other suggestions.
