Which type: The basic pill keeps a steady hormone level in your blood which prevents egg release. Once the pill stops the added hormones leave within days & egg release can occur at any time. If you had implants or injections return of normal fertility may be delayed up to a year even if the hormones are removed.

6 months is enough: It's now June, so November was 6-7 months ago, which is enough time for oral or injected contraceptives to be all gone. Even with typical injected contraceptives, 6-7 months should be long enough for ovulation to have returned (meaning a woman was ovulating prior to contraceptives should be ovulating again at this point). One's Ob-Gyn doctor can evaluate if any concerns.
