Don't use with CHF: Verapamil should generally not be used in pts with CHF due to its negative inotropic effects which may exacerbate this disease. Possible side effects of this drug include dizziness, slow heartbeat, tiredness, constipation, nausea, headache, skin rash or itching, or flushing. I suggest you speak to your cardiologist about any side effects you may be having. I wish you well with your health!
