Usually not: Heart palpitations are not one of the "common" adverse reactions caused by Lisinopril, but that does not mean Lisinopril never causes this reaction. Different people can react to medications in different ways. I recommend you letting your doctor know about your side effect and switch you to another medication.

For the last few months, I've been switching bp medications due to side effects --Prinivil gave me heart palpitations; Amlodopine caused severe insomnia. And now Valsartan is causing insomnia too. Any advice on how to deal with this? Switch again?
Want to switch 12.5 mg of metoprolol from night to daytime. I take it for PVCs heart rate at night before I take it is at 53 to 55. My thinking is I would be better to take it in the morning. I also take 5mg of lisinopril Ill move it to nighttime?
