I've been sick the past week with headaches, sore throat, running nose at times, feeling weak and tired and have taken over the counter medication which hasn't helped what can i do?

Usually, a person sees his doctor if the sore throat is bothersome, recurrent, or doesn't go away quickly (mainly to check for strep throat). A couple days of throat lozenges only temporarily helps.
