My daughter is on day 5 of her period. shes spotting dark red almost brown now. is that normal? she usually gets it. not pregnant

However, blood, as it degrades normally , goes from red to burgundy to brown to yellow as the pigment in the blood also degrades. If there are further concerns about your daughter's period, have her seen by a GYN MD or Pediatrician if she is under 14.
