Quantity vs quality: Sleep comes in various stages from very light to very deep. Most need & get 4 hrs of deep sleep/d. If your body does not get into a deep sleep state, or does so only a minimum time, you could sleep 12-14 hrs & not feel refreshed. Whether this from sleep apnea or other medical condition must be sorted out by your doc or a sleep specialist.
