OTC/vinegar/Rx: Head lice are a human only human parasite that are a common problem. A good soaking in a stout vinegar will loosen the egg casings so they are easier to remove with a fine comb & it may have a toxic effect on the lice. There are several OTC hair products all of which work in some cases. There are also prescription products that can help the resistant cases.
