Worrisome: A percentage of newborn girls may have a pseudo-menses between day 3 & 7 (they have a uterus) but this if from withdrawal of pregnancy hormones. Any bleeding from their vagina after that interval is worrisome. I would schedule her with her doc for an evaluation. If it is just a little rusty color in a pamper it can be from urine crystals but I have seen real problems if it is blood.
