Vaginal bleeding: Since you've had the IUD so long without problems, most likely this has nothing to do with the IUD. Any and all new or unexplained vaginal bleeding or spotting requires professional evaluation. Too many possibilities to even guess at the cause -- but if new sex partner, or partner with other partners, STDs are possible. See your doctor soon.
