Hypothyroidism: It is certainly possible, but hypothyroidism decreases your metabolic rate, which decreases your body's need to burn calories. Although it is much more complicated than i'll make this seem, as long as you are burning more calories that you take in, you can potentially lose weight. It's oftentimes a bit harder when it comes to taking in less than you burn off. It will be a lot harder, for sure.
