Bleeding in Pregnacy: Given your early pregnancy, any bleeding is concerning. Problems such as preterm labor, or placental abruption (early separation), and vaginal infections must be evaluated. Often, the patient and fetus are found to be well, but you can't reliably tell by symptoms alone. If there is a problem, early evaluation and management can make a big difference to the baby.
