Fluids: I would suggest providing fluids, such as water or a pediatric electrolyte solution frequently in small amounts. Nasal saline and cool air mist may relieve cold symptoms, but if there is a strep infection, an antibiotic may be prescribed by your Pediatrician. Advance the diet slowly including bananas and rice as tolerated. Avoid cow's milk until improved. Please see your Pediatrician.
