A member asked:

Is it normal not to have a period?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No period ?: At 17, most young women will be having regular periods, but stress from too much exercise, emotional, work or school related stress can delay ovulation, and other conditions can stop menstruation (polycystic ovarian disease, for example). If pregnancy is possible, obtain a serum HCG test to be certain about pregnancy.
