Depo ?'s: With Depoprogesterone injections, periods to not occur regularly, but the "depo" aspect refers to long acting medications, and must "wear off" prior to your natural periods happening. The good news is that this means of birth control is close to 98-99% effective, but use other birth control if more than 3 months have passed since your last depo shot: ovulation comes prior to a period.
