A member asked:

What should i do if i think i might have appendicitis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Go to the emergency : Appendicitis is still the commonest cause of persistent abdominal distress, especially if there's associated tenderness in the right lower abdomen. Other possibilities include irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticulitis, gastroenteritis or food poisoning. For prompt evaluation and testing, go to the hospital emergency room now as your symptoms are worrisome.
