32 yo. had egg white mucus day 16 and 17 of cycle. i've been abstinent. how often can stress cause delay or missed period? missed period harmful?

Stress can affect: cycles. If not pregnant, could be polycystic ovaries/ insulin resistance, or other causes. Missing periods, can cause an abnormal build up in the uterine lining, and should be treated.
