A member asked:

Having lots of uterine and cervix cramps and pain. not in ovaries. hard to walk. im in my fertile week. this always happens around ovulation. why?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

"Fertile week" ?: If your "fertile week" includes pre-ovulatory cramps "not in ovaries" the pains may arise from estrogen withdrawal and be related to endometriosis, which are scattered inplants from the uterine lining which react to drops in estrogen which occur just prior to ovulation, and can cause the abdominal/uterine cramping associated with same. Ask your gyn about low dose oral bcps.
