No: Although blisters from burns sometimes rupture spontaneously, there is no reason to unroof blisters intentionally. There is generally some protection from the blister, and lancing at home poses a risk for infection without a clear benefit. If significant pain or any loss of function is present with this burn, which is at least 2nd degree, seek evaluation.

Blister: A small, unbroken blister less than 1 in. (2.5 cm) across, even a blood blister, will usually heal on its own. Do not try to break the blister. Just leave it alone to avoid infection. Leave the blister uncovered unless something rubs against it. If you do cover it: put on a loose bandage.
