I have this dull intermittent pain in my lower abdomen where my ovaries are. ive recently gone off the pill due to unusual periods and discharge. not sure if i should see a doctor or just wait until the effects of the pill wear off?

Possible menstrual: cramps from fluctuations in female hormones; however, a pelvic exam and possible tramsvaginal ultrasound by your GYN may be necessary. If you are not allergic to NSAIDS I suggest Advil OR Aleve ( generics OK ) as directed, until seen, examined, evaluated and diagnosed.
