Go on private forum: You posted on our public forum. For when a patient is unsure whether or not she needs to go to a doctor's office, seeing one online on HealthTap is convenient. An online consultation helps a patient decide what she might do next. Next steps may be lab tests to check thyroid hormone status, prescription med refill or changes (some may be prescribed online while some are not), or an in-person visit.

Refills ????: State medical boards require a physician to have an established relationship, a retrievable patient record, recent history & physical with vital signs to prescribe any medication. Failure to comply can result in loss or restriction of their license. If you need refills on medications you need find a new doc using local information & establish a continuing relationship.
