I went to hospital last week because of constipation which caused me severe pains. how can i ease it? what kind of food (which contains fibre) must i eat? i have started my 9th month of pregnancy. pls help, i do not want constipation to delay labour.

Fiber supplements : Fiber supplement and stool softeners are available over the counter and can be used to ease constipation during pregnancy. Increasing water intake and exercise can also help. Increasing vegetable intake can also help.
