Anovulatory bleeding: If ovulation does not occur over a sustained interval (months), the stimulation of continuous estrogen to the uterine lining makes the lining thick and subject to breakdown, causing bleeding. The bleeding may continue for several days, and then subside. Clomid may not result in ovulation at the first dose level, so check with an ovulation kit on day 13-16 after starting Clomid.
