Genetics: The majority have it in their teens with resolution by their early 20's.However, a subset can have it off and on well into their 30's and beyond.Eventually it will disappear, but is one of the hardest skin problems to predict. It is important to have a good daily skin program worked out with your doc or dermatologist, especially for older patients.
