Not advised: Alcohol may enhance the adverse or toxic effects of zopiclone, with the biggest concern being impairing breathing. It is hard to predict at what dose of both the drug and alcohol that may occur, so it’s best to just avoid the combination. It may also raise the risk of sleepwalking behaviors (doing any of the following while sleeping: driving, eating food, leaving the house, etc.).
