I had a nerve conduction and emg done yesterday. i now have pain in my hand is this normal and for how long could it continue if it is normal.

Emg: I assume that during the EMG the used needles in the hand. After a needle is placed in any muscle it is common to have pain for a few days. If you have large swelling with black and blue you would want to speak to the doctor. Usually, a little local ice application for 10 minutes works well.
