Post antibiotics: If you're experiencing significant diarrhea you should be tested for c. difficile infection which is a complication of antibiotic therapy and, if present, requires treatment. Antibiotic associated noninfectious diarrhea is common. Taking probiotics, which your pharmacist can recommend, may help restore more normal intestinal flora. Taking peptobismol as directed can also help. Discuss with MD.
