Strange hair in phlegm sometimes multiple, it's not animal hair or foreign hair and its not from my head and i cough it up often with no pain ideas?

Needs a doc visit: One possibility comes to mind that would require verification/treatment. Some fungal organisms form branch like structures you may see as hairs. If you have acquired such an infection in your airways/lung or nasal passages effective treatments are available.
