Spinal problem: This is most likely secondary to spinal disease with possible nerve root compression. If this pain is severe and came on suddenly, there may be a more serious cause, such as angina, which could result in a heart attack or worse. Suggest you see a doctor for Xrays and an EKG at the very least.
