How do i check myself for pinworms at home?

The classical test: The typical home test includes some clear tape and a glass microscope slide. Whether this is used in your country is unknown. A few cm of clear tape are applied to the anus after the person has been asleep (when the female lays eggs). It picks up PW eggs on the sticky side. The tape is applied to the glass slide, sticky side down. The doc/lab examines the slide for PW eggs.

I think I have pinworms. How do I know? I have a slight "pinch" around my anus. I checked and i see no worms. I am not affected diet wise or nothing out of the ordinary. I feels wierd though.
