Pediatrician helps: If a child is normal, and hasn't outgrown bedwetting by age 7, a medication can be tried to see if it helps. Some kids use the medication only when sleeping away from home, such as at sleepovers, summer camp, hotels, etc... Sometimes, the medicine doesn't work, and only time will help. A normal child may gradually outgrow bedwetting over the years, but some evaluation can be done at this time.
