Agree with Dr. F: It would be prudent to have your doctor take out the IUD and discuss your plans with her/him. The woman should take pre-natal vitamins and have baseline blood tests to rule out anemia. Establish a relation with an obstetrician for care during pregnancy. Wish you good health and a health baby!
