I don't: Did the doc evaluate the kid & prescribe it for this episode ? I never use this in an infant, ever. The steroid component can allow certain germs to cause problems, so I limit my drops to antibiotic only . Ophthalmologists who have more experience/sophisticated equipment to evaluate the infection can determine if a steroid drop is proper.
