Not particularly: The average toddler is expected to get 2-3 viral gut illnesses/yr.These often begin with vomiting & fever followed by cramping & diarrhea. There is little a doc will do other than check the state of hydration. If the kid has/can pee at least every 6-8 hrs they are hydrated. If you are really spooked, go in. However you could feed the kid ice chips & monitor for a while. Most will self heal.
