Jaw Tightness: Could be a strain in your masseter muscle and/or your TMJ. This sometimes occurs when you open wide for a long time (like during a tooth extraction). Avoid hard foods or opening wide for the next week or so. Take NSAIDs to help with any inflammation. If the issue persists, consult your oral surgeon.
