A member asked:

Can i put a small amount of himalayan pink salt in my babys food? she is 15 months old

WHY EVER !!!!!!!!: Infants do not crave or benefit from salt , whatever the form, added to their diet. If anything it can mess up their metabolism and trigger a salt craving pattern that can have lifelong health consequences. Don't salt their food to your taste. They will acquire an interest in it over time. What they get in formula/feeds as infants is finely tuned to begin with.
