Can asthma cause high heart rate im 27 and going for breathing test to test for asthma just wondering if it could cause high heart rate?

Indirectly=yes: The stress of any illness will trigger release of various hormones/stress chemicals that will speed up the heart rate. Anxiety involved in anticipating bad news can also trigger the same stress factors.
