hi, do we need malaria meds when we go on our boat cruise with only one day off the boat at the mozambique harbour? i have type 1 diabetes and my son is 7.

I would: You can review the recommendations for malaria and other issues at the CDC website (updated continuously). Go to www.cdc.gov/travel/destinations. Malaria is a worrisome problem in the region & generally requires meds started before travel & exposure until well after exposure has stopped.
