What causes my scrotum housing one of my testis swell with air and when i press, it deflate to normal. it occurs only when i have malaria?

Disease or Treatment: When you have fluid in your abdomen(ascites) that leaks down into the scrotum, it is called a patent processus vaginalis. This may be what is occurring. Ascites can rarely arise from chronic malaria. It is less likely, though possibly, from some of the malarial drug treatments. Discuss this with your druggist or doctor treating you. They may want to check kidney or liver function tests.
