Reversible or not: Reversible contraception includes barrier methods ( diaphragms, condoms, vaginal gels/creams,etc) IUD's, hormone shots, oral contraceptives and arm implants. Permanent contraceptive methods include tubal ligation, tubal occlusion and hysterectomy. The best method is one that you will use consistently and has the highest effectiveness for your situation. Talk to your FP or GYN MD for details,
