Good day, i saw the gp yesterday for an upper respiratory infection, and no antibiotics were prescribed. today i'm much worse and i fear that it might turn into bronchitis.

Your GP: feels that your symptoms are from a virus! Antibiotics are of no use and might just make things worse by "encouraging" antibiotic RESISTANCE by bacteria that are 'around"! If you develop a cough PRODUCTIVE of yellow/green mucus or shortness of breath or high FEVER ....contact your GP again. Otherwise be "patient" ..drink lots and lots of fluid, rest ....GET WELL!
