Exam needed: In my opinion, these symptoms warrant an urgent examination by her physician or pediatrician. It is uncommon for a 9 year old to complain of dizziness. It may be nonspecific, but in view of associated fever and back pain I am concerned about an infectious process involving the nervous system or spine.
