Pregnant?: "Brown spotting" on oral bcp's is usually due to not being punctual on the low dose bcp's. Taking the active pill next in the sequence even a little more than an hour later than the one the previous day, will cause this kind of light bleeding (brownish). If you do have symptoms of pregnancy, obtain a serum HCG test at the end of this cycle, to be certain.
