Breastfeeding 4months old baby.keep takeing prenatal vitamins containing 27mg ferr-ease dual iron.tibc 247,normal uibc,iron,saturation.why is tibc low?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Because it's normal: It may be counter intuitive but a lower iron binding capacity means there is enough iron in your system that it doesn't need to work hard to get more. High binding capacity means you need more iron than you are getting.
