Upper chest,arm: This is presumed pectoral muscle strain or inflammation although shoulder tendinitis with radiation of discomfort to the pectoral muscle is another possibility. Both respond to resting, taking anti-inflammatory medications like ibuprofen or naproxen, and rubbing in liniment like bengay. See your physician if no improvement.
